Alvin J. Snyder III, PE, LSP - President

Alvin J. Snyder is President and founder of Environmental Resource Associates. He has over 35 years experience in industry and environmental consulting. Mr. Snyder has extensive experience in the testing, design and construction of industrial and hazardous waste treatment facilities for a wide variety of industries. He is responsible for numerous projects relating to uncontrolled disposal sites, air and water pollution, groundwater and soil remediation, assessment, processing and regulatory issues. His projects span from industrial and commercial clients to municipalities and governmental agencies. Mr. Snyder's career projects have been both domestic and foreign.

Mr. Snyder received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. He is a registered Professional Engineer in RI, MA, CT and OH, and is one of the first Licensed Site Professionals (LSP) in Massachusetts. He is an avid canoeist who enjoys nature, camping, mineral collecting, wine making, natural history and astronomy.
