Design of a Landfill Leachate Treatment System
ERA prepared design plans and bid specifications for a major upgrade to an existing leachate wastewater treatment system for a regional landfill. The 600 gpm system was designed to remove heavy metals prior to sewer discharge. ERA conducted batch and pilot scale testing over a six-month period to supplement existing data and provide a basis for design of the new system.
